I am not big fan of cheap nail polishes, but I wasn't able to walk past this one. Purple is my weakness and this is the most beautiful polish I have ever seen. As yesterday I received my order of steel balls for caviar manicure, of course I had t try them :) So the result is such:
Photos really don't show the nce glitter in polish, it makes it look kind of dirty. The purple polish is Flormar nr 14.
About caviar manicure
I have had it on me for 13 hours, 7 of them in sleep, being pressed against sheets and sliding hand in hair a lot :) But all of balls seem to be in their place, even showering did nothing to them. It did feel very uneven when washing hair so I kept my pinkie as less as possible in them :D I had read that this manicure lasts up to 2 days. To prolong it I applied a bit of top cot along the tip of nail. But don't do it to whole nail - it really looks terrible, like frog eggs.

First tries at tape design...
Polishes - Sparitual "Shoot For The Stars" and "Enlightened Soul". I used a regular paper tape, made for medical purposes. The worst part was cutting it in strips that are similar. I took almost forever! Next time I will use special nail tape for this kind of manicure.
On my second try I used polishes Sparitual "Enlightened Soul" and Orly "Fresh".

This one I actually liked more. Colours seemed to work together really well.
French manicure
Every once in a while I get a bit tired of polishing all my nails. Then French manicue comes in handy. I really dislike working with white polish, as the one I have seems to be a bit too less pigmented and less lasting as I would want it to be. Glitter polishes, on the other hand, are very lasting ( actually I even have problems to remove them afterwards) so no problems with bad manicure after doing dishes. And if you have problems with making the perfect smile line - it will be less noticeable with such polish.
Used polish - Sparitual "Looking Glass shimmer"
Magnetix polish
Polish - China Glaze "You Move Me".
I find working with magnetic polishes quite hard. Either I work too slowly or they dry way too quickly for me, or maybe both :) I got two magnetic polishes, "You Move Me" and "Drawn to You" - both really pretty. But as they dry so fast I usually manage to get the magnetic effect only party on my nails so for a perfect manicure sometimes I have to even redo some nails 4 times...
For a prettier effect (at least I think so) I added rhinestones inside of every center of effect. They managed to hold on really good, even for a week with washing hair every other day and doing all the house works.

First try at water marbling
I had seen many pictures of this technique, but was always too lazy to try it on my own. All clean up as too much for a quick manicure. Somehow one evening I decided that the time has come and I just have to do it. The colours I used are Orly "cotton candy" and Sparitual "shoot for the stars". I only put on base coat so the polish layer is really thin and opaque. So I'd suggest one coat of lightest colour before marbling.
After marbling I didn't wait long enough for it to dry and applied top coat so some nails look a bit smudged. But for first try I suppose it is acceptable.

Nails of my right hand turned out to be good for real life, but not for publishing :)
Nr. 1
Hello everyone!
For many years I have been kinda obsessed with nails. So now I decided to keep a blog about them - just some pictures of my current manicure and thought about polishes. But before all that - I have to apologize to people who will see my pictures for their bad quality :) Being a student has on huge drawback - when you have to decide between a camera or paying rent, rent somehow always wins :) So all pictures are taken with phone and quality is lacking a bit. Still, I hope it won't be a huge issue for you. Enjoy!
